About the Book
Dynamics and Transformation of Human Systems is the third volume in the Human Constants Theory Article Series. It addresses change, transformation, and reconstruction in human systems.
Human systems never remain completely fixed. They face internal and external changes, crises, environmental pressures, economic and social developments, and cultural transformations. The central question of this volume is how these transformations can be analyzed within the framework of Human Constants Theory.
In this framework, a constant does not mean that human phenomena are static. It refers to relatively stable tendencies and needs that take different forms in different historical and social conditions.
Purpose and Place in the Series
The book examines the mechanisms of balance and imbalance, regulation, adaptation, flexibility, resilience, and reconstruction in the transformation of human systems. It considers the relationship between structural change and the continuity of fundamental human needs.
This volume creates a bridge between the analysis of the social system and the broader study of society and civilization. It shows how Human Constants Theory can be used to study processes of human and social transformation.
